Creative Mentoring®
places a strong emphasis on mentor training. We have developed half day training programs based on our training manuals,
Elements of Effective
Mentoring and
Mentoring in the Middle,
for mentors entering the Elementary and Middle
schools, respectively.
All mentors involved in Creative Mentoring® in-school programs are required to take our 3-1/2 hour training.
Training is available to volunteers throughout Delaware
at no charge, regardless of program affiliation, if
the volunteers will be working in a public school. Our training services are also offered to those outside Delaware on a fee basis.
We are currently seeking caring adults willing to give just one hour a week to help a child gain self-confidence.
